These terms apply when you use the Ready at Home website or buy a Ready at Home digital product. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Our products
Ready at Home sells downloadable preparedness guides and workbooks. Products are digital unless the product page expressly says otherwise. No physical item is posted.
Orders and payment
Checkout, payment and digital delivery are provided through Payhip and its payment providers. Your order is accepted when payment is successfully completed and the digital product is made available to you.
Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before you complete the purchase. Taxes may be included in the displayed price or calculated at checkout depending on your location.
Personal-use licence
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, each purchase gives one household a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased files.
You may download and print copies for your own household. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, share publicly, reproduce commercially or make the files available to another household or organisation.
Preparedness information
Ready at Home is designed to help households plan and prepare. It is general information, not medical, legal, financial, engineering, security or emergency-service advice.
Conditions and official advice can change. In an emergency, follow current instructions from emergency services, government bodies, local authorities, healthcare professionals and other relevant official sources.
Product descriptions
We aim to describe each product accurately. Screenshots, examples and page counts may be updated as products improve, provided the product remains consistent with the description under which it was sold and your statutory rights are respected.
Downloads and technical requirements
You are responsible for having a device and software capable of opening standard PDF files. If you have a genuine problem accessing a purchased file, contact hello@getreadyathome.com and we will try to resolve it.
Refunds and cancellation
Digital purchases are subject to the cancellation and consumer-rights rules that apply in your country. Our specific policy is set out on the Digital Products & Refunds page.
Intellectual property
The Ready at Home name, website content, guide content, workbook content, artwork and other original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Buying a product gives you the personal-use licence described above; it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so. Subject to that, Ready at Home is not responsible for losses caused by using the guides as a substitute for current official or professional advice, or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws that apply where you live.
